We are six garden clubs of Coos and Curry counties of the beautiful southern Oregon coast, affiliates of Oregon State Federation of Garden Clubs. The clubs are located in Hauser, North Bend, Coos Bay, Bandon, Port Orford and Gold Beach.
Membership comes from all parts of District Ix, Fgcnys. The Club provides programs and other support to the District and State in accordance with National Council objectives. Workshops are offered to other clubs and to the public.
Master Gardeners teach the public about Gardening and Horticulture. We are creating a Native Habitat Restoration for Butterflies & Hummingbirds within the City Parks system. Our plans include a Backyard Butterfly Habitat Kit for homeowners to plant their own Native Gardens.
The chapter of the American Hosta Society including all local hosta societies in the Northeastern U. S. and Quebec. The primary function of the chapter is to link all of these societies together with each other and the A. H. S.
The Florida Native Plant Society was organized in 1980 to promote the preservation, conservation, and restoration of the native plants and native plant communities of Florida. The Pawpaw Chapter serves East Volusia and Flagler counties.
