Alaska Botanical Garden

Location:   4500 Block of Campbell Airstrip Rd.,   Anchorage,   AK

The Alaska Botanical Garden is set in the native boreal forest of Anchorage and contains a trail system between garden features. These features include two perennial gardens, a formal herb garden, an alpine rock garden, a native wildflower walk and a 1.1 mile nature trail.

  • Volunteers Needed

Types of Gardens/Collections:
Display Garden, Herb, Native Plant, Perennial

Hours:
Daily during daylight hours, year round, and expect snow cover over the garden from late October through mid-April

Admission/Membership/Dues:
admission by donation
Senior and Student $25/year
Individual membership $35/year
Family membership $50/year
Business membership $100/year
Lifetime membership $2,500

Gardens North Quarterly Newsletter

Meetings/Conventions:
Next Annual Meeting on April 1, 2003 featuring year in review.
Garden Fair Saturday and Sunday, June 28 & 29, 2003 featuring crafts, art show, gardening demonstrations, kid's activities, plant sales, foods and fun.
