The Buxton Branch of the A. B. S. meets monthly during the academic year. Meetings include educational lectures, demonstrations and informal Q&A about growing, propagation and identification. We also organize fun field trips focused on Begonia culture and information.

Meetings/Conventions:
Annual Show & Sale with the N.E. AGGS (American Gloxinia & Gesneriad Society). Judged Show, Spontaneous Workshops. Sale Plants grown by members to benefit the ABS/AGGS chapters. The ABS also has an annual National Convention.
