Burlington Area Community Gardens

Location:   645 Pine St, Suite B,   Burlington,   VT

One of the largest community garden programs in northern New England, Bacg maintains 8 sites around Burlington. Youth plots are also available as well as an entire site dedicated to Children. Sites are equipped with water and tilled in the fall and the spring.

Types of Programs:
Charitable, Conservation, Educational, Membership, Native Plants, Professional

Programs:
We offer a wide variety of single day workshops to multiple sesions. From understanding organic gardening to participating in Plant A Row, there is something for everyone.

Membership/Dues:
Memebrship is inlcuded when one signs up for a plot for the summer.

Publications:
Weed 'Em Reap is the newsletter created by gardeners for gardeners. Packed with tips, recipes and stories, the newsletter is sent out 3X/year.

Meetings/Conventions:
The Burlington Area Community Garden Advisory Board meets every third Monday of the month except for August.
