The Scmmga promotes gardening in South Carolina; provides continuing education to members who are in good standing as Extension trained Master Gardeners; and, promotes an interest in the art and science of gardening throughout the communities of the state.

For the mutual benefit of members and general public, through education & information, including advice for the building & maintenance of Water Garden Ponds. Members also help schools with ponds which are used as outdoor classrooms, & have an annual pond tour for the public.
The Cenla Rose Society offers educational programs at monthly meetings. Members receive a monthly bulletin, enjoy garden tours, an annual rose show and fellowship with others who grow roses. Visitors, new members are welcome. Affiliate of the American Rose Society.
An all volunteer organization dedicated to planting and maintaining public gardens in our small town. Completing 6 projects in 4 years, the club has instilled new civic pride and inspired other community action groups. Motto is 'Enhancing the Community through Gardening'
The goal of the Heartland Peony Society is to foster and promote an interest in peonies, to promote their introduction into cultivation, and to encourage development of new and improved varieties.
