Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve is a 10-acre public garden featuring a series of ponds; walking trails; plantings of annuals, perennials and shrubs; a native woodland of mixed hardwoods; and a diverse population of wildlife.
Depending on when you visit, you could discover dogwoods in full bloom, colorful summer wildflowers, burnished autumn leaves, or maple trees bursting with sap. Featuring plants native to Illinois, the Garden was designed by landscape architect Jens Jensen.
