Leaning Pine Arboretum

We are the Central Coast's Premier Horticultural Display Garden. Located on the Cal Poly campus at the Environmental Horticultural Science unit, the Leaning Pine Arboretum specializes in plants from the world's five mediterranean climate areas.

National Tropical Botanical Garden

Lawai, HI

NTBG's primary mission is the conservation of endangered tropical plants. NTBG's five gardens and three preserves in the Hawaiian Islands and south Florida are botanical arks. The NTBG is a nonprofit corporation, funded by donations.

Battery Park City Parks Conservancy

New York, NY

BPCPC is a private non-profit organization dedicated to operating, maintaining and programming the parks of Battery Park City. In addition to full time and seasonal staff, BPCPC runs a successful Gardening Volunteer program.

Botanical Medicine Garden - Southern Cross University

East Lismore, Australia

The Botanical Medicine Garden includes medicinal plants used in western herbal medicine, as well as specialised display gardens for essential oils and ethnobotanical plant medicines. The garden is used in teaching herbal medicine in our Bachelor of Naturopathy degree.

Birmingham Fern Society

Birmingham, AL

The Birmingham Fern Society has an expressed interest in hardy ferns. Members have monthly programs and maintain the Fern Glade at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. An annual juried show, including free lectures and a fern sale, is open to the public in June.

Newton Arboretum and Botanical Gardens

The arboretum is about 3 acres of gardens, native trees, shrub roses, ornamental grasses and annual and perennial beds. A Learning Center will be built within the year to accomodate seminars and classes.

Gateway Greening
