New Jersey State Botanical Garden

Ringwood, NJ

Located in Ringwood State Park, the New Jersey State Botanical Garden at Skylands was designated in 1984 by Gov. Thomas Kean as the state's official botanical garden and appears on both the State and National Registers of Historic Places.

West Virginia University Herbarium

Morgantown, WV

This collection of dried, pressed plants documents floristic and taxonomic diversity, particularly of the Appalachians. It is the largest herbarium in WV, with about 160,000 specimens, over 20,000 plant color photographic slides and a botanical library.

Frederick W. Vanderbilt Formal Gardens
