Descanso Gardens, near downtown Los Angeles, is known for a camellia forest amid oak trees, the International Rosarium, lilacs hybridized at Descanso for warm climates, Japanese Garden and a California Garden. Descanso welcomes nearly 300,000 visitors each year.
