Friends of Harkness is dedicated to restoring and preserving the gardens, mansion, and other structures at the Park, bequeathed to the State of Connecticut by Edward and Mary Stillman Harkness, for enjoyment, recreation, and education of its visitors.

Seasonal nominal daily parking fee. No admission for mansion and garden tours, but donations are appreciated. FOH membership by application and annual minimum $15.00 contribution. Write or

Friends of Harkness members receive quarterly issues of the organization's newsletter, EOLIAN, which updates FOH restoration projects and events.Meetings/Conventions:
General Membership programs occur first Monday evenings each month, April through December. 2003 schedule includes Annual Plant Sale, specialty lectures, members'picnic, Harkness Family Day, Fall Pumpkin Festival, and Holiday Gala.
