The Long Island Chapter of the American Gloxinia and Gesneriad Society (Liaggs) is a non-profit horticultural society devoted to growing and promoting african violets (Saintpaulia), gloxinias, and other members of the gesneriad family.

Programs:
Monthly programs are given by nationally-known gesneriad growers and chapter members. Plants and supplies are sold at each meeting.

Membership/Dues:
$10/year per household.

Publications:
Monthly newsletter, 'Gesneriad News.'

Meetings/Conventions:
Annual AGGS convention and flower show held at the beginning of July.
