Our mission is to encourage and improve the science and practice of northern horticulture through developing the public's enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of plants. We offer classes, 'Northern Gardener' magazine, a library, an extensive bookstore and more.

A network of garden enthusiasts, clubs and industry professionals bring new and time-tested home horticulture information to classes, seminars, tours and meetings throughout the state.
MSHS coordinates the Minnesota Green program.

Publications:
Our award-winning magazine 'Northern Gardener', formerly 'Minnesota Horticulturist', provides the best regional gardening information. For community gardeners, the Creating Community Gardens handbook is available upon request.
Meetings/Conventions:
