The Alaska Rose Society is a non profit organization affilliated with the American Rose Society dedicated to helping people enjoy and grow roses in the Far North. Meetings are monthly and our Bulletin in bi-monthly.
Devoted to furthering the use and enjoyment of all members of the primula family. Membership includes a quarterly publication and yearly seed exchange. There is an annual national show and occasional regional shows.
The ARS is the largest specialized plant society in the U. S. promoting the culture and appreciation of the rose-America's national flower. A nonprofit educational organization, the ARS serves as the international registrar for roses.
At every meeting, we have a program that relates to gardening or roses. Anyone interested in roses is eligible for membership. We also carry mile high rose feed, alfalfa meal, and kelp meal - all good fertilizers for roses.
Jersey Shore Rose Society's purpose: To encourage interest in cultivation of roses and contribute knowledge and experience in rose culture. Our primary outreach area includes Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean Counties of the State of New Jersey.
