An organization for the study and preservation of Connecticut's flora, open to anyone interested in the region's plants. The site includes photos of wildflowers and ferns, information on gardening with native plants, Society activities, and how to join.

Greater Rochester Rose Society

The rose society meets the first Tuesday of each month to discuss aspects of rose growing. We usually have guest lecturers three times a year and have a large rose show in June. There is a plant auction in April and two picnics in the summer at members gardens.
