Greater Rochester Rose Society

Rochester, NY

The rose society meets the first Tuesday of each month to discuss aspects of rose growing. We usually have guest lecturers three times a year and have a large rose show in June. There is a plant auction in April and two picnics in the summer at members gardens.

Garden State Iris Society

The Garden State Iris Society is a recognized affiliate of the American Iris Society and represents region 19, New Jersey. The group holds regular meetings with programs related to all phases of iris culture.

Greyston Community Garden Project

We provide vacant lots for community gardening and environmental education. We serve the low-income population of SW Yonkers -- working with tenants in housing, members of an HIV day treatment program, and groups from other local community agencies.

Hudson River Park

Hudson River Park covers five miles of Hudson River waterfront from the Battery to 59th Street in Manhattan. The Park had almost 5,000,000 million vistors this year to bikeways, piers, a 400-acre marine reserve, and the new Greenwich Village Garden at Christopher Street.

Massapequa Park Garden Club

Massapequa Park Garden Club meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month. 7:30 p. m. Lectures and slide presentations. Garden Tours also monthly events.

Nutmeg State Orchid Society

We seek to promote interest in the conservation of orchids through community involvement and education about native and tropical orchids. We are a 501(c)3 membership-based non-profit organization and affiliate of the American Orchid Society.

Connecticut Herb Study Group

A 'hands-on' group interested in herb horticulture, garden design and culinary applications. We have workshops, tour gardens/greenhouses and study selected herbs.
