Founded in 1925, Gcnj is a federation of individual local garden clubs throughout the state. Gcnj has over 5,000 members, age 6-adult. A charter member of National Garden Clubs, Inc. furthering its goals through numerous state and local activities.
We encourage Mid-Atlantic region gardeners to learn more about horticulture by sponsoring garden and nursery visits, trips, seminars, lectures, workshops, plant sales, cuttings and seed exchanges. Hps/Mag is a non-profit volunteer organization.
Est in 1955. Aim is to introduce and educate gardeners to the beauty and rewards to growing Dahlias. Monthly meetings for exchange of info and appreciation of the many colors and forms.
A 30 acre garden which specializes in an extensive azalea & rhodo. collection. Approx.250,000 spring flowering bulbs on display. Annual azalea fest on Mothers Day. Walking trails, 2 ponds with fish, gazebos, perennial & annual displays.

The Connecticut Iris Society encourages the growing of garden irises in Ct. It disseminates knowledge of good gardening practices in the growing of irises. It fosters appreciation of newer and better irises.
We maintain our library's plantings, a Butterfly Garden at PAWS farm, provide scholarships, do civic plantings, stimulate an appreciation of plants and aid in the improvement of home gardening.
The Yama Ki Bonsai Society fosters a forum for discussion and education on bonsai for people living in Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT. Programs offer a variety of topics related to bonsai and include lectures, demonstrations, workshops and other.
