The Rochester Civic Garden Center is a not-for-profit horticultural education center which has been fostering knowledge, providing information and promoting all aspects of gardening and horticulture through classes and certificate programs for more than 60 years.

Monthly mtgs held Mar through Dec. We tour member and local community gardens during the summer. During other months, guest speakers are invited. We assist local organizations in garden-related activities and hold an annual plant sale. A monthly newsletter is generated.
Hudson River Park covers five miles of Hudson River waterfront from the Battery to 59th Street in Manhattan. The Park had almost 5,000,000 million vistors this year to bikeways, piers, a 400-acre marine reserve, and the new Greenwich Village Garden at Christopher Street.

The New Haven Land Trust provides community gardening opportunities at 50 sites throughout New Haven. We welcome volunteers and gardeners. We focus on food production. Gardeners from novice to experienced levels are welcome.
