Luther Burbank's Gold Ridge Experiment Farm

Location:   7781 Bodega Hwy.,   Sebastopol,   CA

Burbank's Farm (Nat. Reg. of Historic Places) is the site where Burbank (1849-1926) conducted multiple plant experiments (fruit trees, perennials, etc.). Some of these are still in the original nursery rows. Self-guided tours all year; group tours by appointment.

Types of Gardens/Collections:
Cottage, Display Garden, Perennial

Hours:
Every day for self-guided tours.
Call ahead for docent tours.
Volunteers' Workday every Weds. morning with plant sales 9 to noon.

Admission/Membership/Dues:
Self-guided tour free.
Docent tours $3/person & 12 & under $1
West. Son. Cty. Hist. Soc. dues $15/yr. individ.

Publications:
WSCHS 'Apple Press' newsletter currently published four times a year and includes Gold Ridge Farm reports.

Meetings/Conventions:
WSCHS General Meeting: 4 times a year, 2nd Monday @ Sebastopol Veterans Building. Gold Ridge Farm Open Houses in April & October.
